Trails are the most visible multiplier in Speed Monkey Escape—colored streaks behind your character that scale how effectively you convert treadmill time and stage movement into progression. This tier list ranks every trail from starter Green through endgame Infinity using S/A/B/C bands, with exact multipliers and acquisition costs pulled from live game data.

S Tier — Best in Slot

Choco Trail (20x, 499 Robux) — Best overall trail for mid-to-late game. Trivializes many World 1 stages and accelerates World 2 prep dramatically. Buy when you commit to premium spending; pair with Choco Aura for maximum stack.

Infinity Trail (5M+, Premium / Events) — Ultra endgame trail requiring twenty-plus rebirths to maximize. Irrelevant for new accounts but definitive S-tier for stacked multiplier hunters. See multiplier stacking.

Rainbow Trail (5x, 100,000 Wins) — Best F2P late-game option. Grind-friendly through Sugar Rush farming. Replace Red Trail and never look back until Robux budget allows Choco.
